Flattened expanded metal is unflattened material that has been passed through a set of cold reducing mill rolls to create a smooth, flat surface. This process produces a material with a uniform thickness and smooth surface on both sides.
The flattening process reduces the overall thickness of the material while maintaining the diamond pattern. This makes it ideal for applications requiring a flat, smooth surface such as architectural panels, filtration, and decorative applications.
We produce flattened expanded metal in a wide variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, and various super alloys. Custom patterns and specifications are available upon request.
